One of our most unique styles yet, this wrapped cape drapes across the body for a fantastic layering piece with a huge hood and loose fit perfect for wearing while learning magic and traveling through the woods with your merry band of misfits!

  • Wraps Around Body and Drapes Down Back Shoulders
  • Acrylic Blended Yarn
  • 2 Sizes - Small and Large; Small is best for sizes XS-L, Large is best for XL-4XL as the fit is based on the back width as the back should be fitted against the body
  • Colors may vary due to monitor settings

This knit is meant to fit tight across the back and then drape loosely over the chest and through the shoulders. Wrapping it is fairly easy once you get used to it. You slip your arms through the back hole so the bottom part is tight to your back and the upper hood is up (wrapping with the hood up on your head is best). Then bring one side around and slip it through the hole at your shoulder for the hood, keeping it tight across your chest as you wrap. Then do the same to the other side.

Bernadette is modeling the Production Small. She has a 40” Bust, 36.5” Waist, 43” Hips, and is 5’6”. She generally wears a L in our pieces.

Stacy is modeling the Sample L, she generally wears an XL in our pieces. She has a 46.5” Chest, 42” Waist, 50.5” Hips, and is 5’6”.

Kevin is modeling the Sample Large, but would order a Small. He has a 37” chest, 30” Waist, and is 6’1”. He generally wears a M or L in our pieces.

We know our prices are high and only rising higher. And our domestic factories can’t keep up with all our designs and ideas since we’re still so small and they need bigger business to make the real bucks.

In an attempt to help our Starpuffs still get our pieces while trying to help keep costs low and to get more new pieces made, we’ve partnered with a very small factory in China that works with small brands such as ours to help make some amazing pieces without sacrificing our quality.

The knit garments are also knit with nearly 0 waste due to much better knitting machines being used overseas than the older machines in the USA. So our knit partners are making these pieces exactly as patterned versus our domestic machines which largely knit rectangles that we then cut into to create our necks and armholes! We’re super excited for this growth!

We are testing with a few pieces and may expand our international options, but this doesn’t mean we are moving everything overseas. We’re just supplementing our domestic apparel with a few international designs here and there, and they’ll be priced much lower than our Made in LA apparel as they just aren’t nearly as expensive to create, so we can make them more affordable for everyone!

Depending on the style you can go down or up based on your own personal preference for fit and look. Different body shapes may also fit better in a different size. Our pieces tend to have very nice stretch.

If you're unsure of what to size off of, the chest for tops/dresses tends to be the most important measurement to check as our pieces have such a good stretch that even if you're more rectangular shaped with a waist nearly matching your bust, the waist of the garment will very likely stretch to fit!

Also the larger a garment gets the more it can stretch as it has even more spandex in it! So smaller sizes can stretch 3-5" while larger sizes can stretch 5-10".

Are you Petite? You likely will want to size down in spandex dresses and tops as they're so stretchy. So if our models with similar measurements to you but tall are wearing a given size you may prefer to go down one size in spandex. Knitwear cardigans and tops may be similar but if something says it has less stretch than our usual knits we wouldn't recommend sizing down. And of course additional hemming may be necessary for things with skirts.

Are you Tall? We don't recommend sizing down as the garments will be shorter on you. We wouldn't recommend sizing up as the shoulders and body may be too large for you. We recommend ordering the size comparable models are wearing.

When we have combined sized styles it means you should still buy the size intended for your measurements. However combined sizes tend to be oversized so you can go down if you'd like a less oversized fit. (It's best to only go down if you are the smaller of the two combined sizes, if you're the second size in a combo size you may hate the tighter fit)

Care: Nearly everything we make is recommended to be hand washed on cold water and dried flat.

For BEST care: Dry Clean if you have a cleaners you like and trust.

Snagged or Pulled a knit piece? Get a Snag Repair Tool, which you can buy on Amazon or in your local sewing shop. This repair tool is easy to use, but there's a great tutorial video if you want help!

Storage: Sweaters should be stored folded, never stored hung up as it can stretch and warp them. Spandex and Ponte can be stored hung up but be aware they can also stretch over time if a heavy dress or skirt.
