Let's bring back Tapestries! Or Small Blankies!
In an effort to reduce our waste in the industry we work with our local knit houses to help make accessories out of our scrap pieces so we aren't as destructive. However we sometimes have leftovers like this piece that are huge and don't have huge flaws we can easily see. They could have just made an extra back piece to our dolmans or longlines and ran out of yarn for the front pieces so we have an extra back? Or there's a small knit flaw that we just don't see. We don't know, but we have this blanket/panel that we don't want to cut into to turn into gloves because it's so pretty as it is.
So we are offering it up to you. Maybe you want it as a wall tapestry to pin up. Maybe you want it as a blanket for a kiddo. Maybe you're a sewist and want to turn it into something yourself. Do whatever you feel like with this knit blanket!
Dimensions are as follows:
Panel A: Height 44" Width 62"
Panel B: Height 41" Width 62"
Panel C: Height 36" Width 65" (This one has two sewn edges with no ribbing at the bottom)
We sewed the top edge to keep it from unraveling. It is coverstitched with pink threads on the outer side and white thread on the inner side
