Fit: This dress has insane stretch. Bengaline is engineered for stretch and strength, so you can go up or down a size and not miss out on comfort. We do recommend ordering your REGULAR Elhoffer Design size in our apparel in this piece! If you're between sizes, go down rather than up.
The size chart is so strange looking, why are there two sets of numbers under Bust and Waist? Well, we're trying out a new thing. We're showing the completely unstretched spec, as well as the stretched out to nearly the max stretch. Keep in mind, our Medium fit model has a 39" Bust and 32" Waist, so Mediums are fit to that size when stretched out.
The skirt will also be longer than in the pictures. The sample dress we photo'd has an uneven front hem, as well as only being 34" from shoulder to hem. Production dresses will have 3" more in the front and 4 inches more in the back (to make it more of the Commander Dress back length).
Kelsey is 5'9" and is wearing our Sample Medium. She has a 36" Bust, 26" Waist, and 42" Hip. She would have been better in a Size Small, but still slays in the Medium
Care: We Recommend DRY CLEAN ONLY. However, we have washed this dress in cold on delicate and hung it to dry and it didn't shrink.
However - The TEAL color WILL bleed for the first few washes and might even rub off on furniture or skin. The fabric is overdyed to get it's vibrant color, which means that excess dye will come off over the first few washes. To reduce turning your skin blue, we recommend cleaning it before wearing it!
